For someone from Iran, where women have historically been prohibited from entering stadiums, the stadium also evokes a sense of absence and resistance. A Mass Sporting Project transforms the gallery into a half-stadium,a temporary urban space where people can gather, move around, and interact with one another. Rather than celebrating hierarchy or victory, the project envisages a collective environment shaped by participation, equality, and the potential for belonging.
