Interactive sound Installation with artificial grass, bricks, light , gate and…  I recorded the sound of men playing footbal in a park in downtown Tehran.

This project uses sports  as a metaphor for resistance, endurance, hope, perseverance, and the essence of life. In mass sporting events, physical abilities, gender, race, and age transcend. It’s a collective activity where winning and losing hold no significance. Instead, the focus is on values such as cooperation, vitality, mobility, and overall health.(Women in Iran are forbidden from attending stadiums. I’ve never been to a stadium, though..)

How does our connection shift when we encounter these shared areas? How democratic and non-democratic are these spaces? Do we share similar experiences and interpretations in these contexts?

“A Mass Sporting Project” transforms a gallery into a half-stadium. The idea is to create an environment where everyone can come together as one, fostering a sense of inclusivity where no one is put on a pedestal above anyone else.
