The Lost Garden

immersive Interactive Installation with laser, projection, light and cords

Drawing inspiration from the mythology of lost gardens and the purpose of greenhouses, this immersive installation explores the fading presence of nature in a world increasingly shaped by human activity. The myths of lost gardens, including the Garden of Eden, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and the Celtic Otherworld, focus on themes of paradise, human longing, and the loss of harmony with nature. These stories often reflect human mistakes, such as disobedience or pride, and remind us of a perfect past that can never be fully recovered. In this installation, inside the greenhouse, typically a place where sunlight nurtures plants, artificial light takes over. Industrial materials, such as electrical cables and laser projections, simulate urban light pollution.
